Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ReadZoo ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. The Service is currently in beta.
1. Accounts
Accounts are created and held by parents or legal guardians (18+). You may create reader profiles for children in your care; you are responsible for those profiles and for activity under your account. Keep your sign-in credentials secure.
2. The Service
ReadZoo generates book-comprehension quizzes, tracks reading levels and activity, and (if you opt in) sends progress emails. Quiz questions are generated by AI from published material about each book. We work hard on accuracy and provide reporting tools, but quiz content may contain errors and is provided for educational enrichment — it is not a formal educational assessment, diagnosis, or substitute for school evaluation.
3. Free tier and paid plans
The free tier includes 2 quizzes per calendar month (3 in your first month) and one child profile, at no cost and without a card. ReadZoo+ unlocks unlimited quizzes, multiple child profiles, and the weekly parent digest; its current price and billing terms are shown before you subscribe, and you can cancel anytime. Limits and pricing may change with notice.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to access other users' data or probe the Service's security.
- Don't use automated tools to scrape the Service or mass-generate quizzes.
- Don't resell or redistribute quiz content commercially.
We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
5. Your content
You retain rights to information you provide (e.g., reader names). You grant us the license needed to operate the Service — storing, processing, and displaying that information to you and your readers.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReadZoo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or $10 if you paid nothing).
7. Termination
You can stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, with notice where practical.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email; continued use after changes means you accept them.
